Barely five days to go until NFT.NYC 2022, and we have compiled a list of some of the events from different NFT communities taking place around the same time.
All roads lead to New York City, at least in the Web3 and NFT worlds, to celebrate NFT.NYC 2022. Tagged as the “Superbowl of the NFT space,” the event brings together the entire NFT community composed of enterprise and consumer brands, blockchain developers, gamers, artists, investors, and fans.
The eyes of the NFT community are on several bluechip NFT projects and what they have in store for fans next week. Incidentally, NFT.NYC is happening from June 20 to 23 at Times Square. Here’s a rundown of what to expect from some of our favorite NFT projects.
What to Look Forward to at NFT.NYC 2022
First off, let’s see what our favorite Apes are up to. Coinciding with NFT.NYC, the NFT space’s most popular ape family—the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC)—are celebrating ApeFest 2022.
In connection with this, BAYC and MAYC holders and their plus-ones who can’t make it ApeFest 2022 are encouraged to cancel their tickets to give waitlisted apes a chance to grab them. The announcement was made on BAYC’s official Twitter account.
Those who will cancel can still get their hands on attendee-only merchandise. However, as a way of saying thanks to those good apes who will give way to others, they will receive a token of gratitude from the Apes, as pictured below.
Next up, the Cool Cats are bringing the world of Cooltopia to life at NFT.NYC. “We’re beyond excited to create the first immersive and experiential real-life version of Cooltopia and share these beloved characters across the New York skyline,” said Cool Cats co-founder Evan Luza.
There will also be a VIP party strictly for Cool Cats holders. Here are the dates of the Cooltopia events during NFT.NYC:
Next up are the events scheduled for Doodle and Dooplicator holders from around the world. During these events, there will be a Doodles product trailer premiere, a brand new IRL experience, and exclusive holder-only benefits during the three-day festivities.
The World of Women (WoW) NFT project is also joining the festivities, and they have announced that no less than the Queen of Pop, Madonna, will perform at their NFT.NYC party.
Art Blocks will also be having simultaneous displays of their art at the following venues:
Superplastic will also be having a party with free drinks, music, and food on June 20, 2022, from 5-10 PM ET.
And while we’re at it, if you’re heading out to NYC for the festivities, don’t forget to keep an eye out for the McGoblin Burger truck. Yes, after revealing who the brains behind the highly-popular Goblintown NFT project are, the team announced that they would be joining the merrymaking at NFT.NYC.
Since Goblintown and Illuminati NFT are practically siblings, Goblintown NFT holders are welcome to attend the Illuminati event and enjoy the midnight goblin party.
