Multimedia company Lyrical Lemonade’s tech branch, L3mon, says holders of its NFT collection “The Carton” will be granted exclusive access to the world of Lyrical Lemonade.
Lyrical Lemonade, the multimedia company founded in 2013 by Cole Bennett, has branched out into the Web3 ecosystem via L3mon. While Lyrical Lemonade operates in film, live events, merchandise, and the beverage industry, L3mon focuses on exploring and embracing new technologies.
However, it’s worth noting that all of Lyrical Lemonade’s and L3mon’s efforts are geared towards building better and stronger relationships with family, friends, and supporters. After all, Bennett started Lyrical Lemonade as a blog before venturing into bigger things, thanks to new ideas, lessons, and, you guessed it, lemonade.
“The Carton” NFT Collection
On April 5, L3mon established a firm grasp on the Metaverse when it released “The Carton” NFT collection via a live whitelist minting. Then, on April 6, they opened a public sale with all minted pieces selling out the same day. However, what is “The Carton?”
“The Carton” is L3mon’s initial NFT collection meant to represent the company’s past, present, and future. L3mon highly believes in blockchain technology and its capacity to break through established status quos.
In the Web3 space, it’s common to see intermediaries siphoning value and benefiting from the relationship between brands and their communities. L3mon and its parent company, Lyrical Lemonade, plan to steer clear of that and instead establish themselves as independent companies with an opportunity to eliminate those intermediaries.
“The Carton” NFT collection is composed of 500 Lyrical Lemonade cartons. Each carton is uniquely handcrafted and stored as ERC-721A tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and hosted on IPFS. Each of the unique cartons was minted at Ξ 0.5 or about $1513.
What’s Special about “The Carton”?
Those who were fortunate enough to purchase the NFTs during the launch will automatically be considered “ground floor” participants in Lyrical Lemonade’s Web3 mission. Each holder will be granted exclusive access to the Lyrical Lemonade’s world.
As part of holders’ exclusive access to the world of Lyrical Lemonade, they will be able to secure whitelist spots for each future L3mon release. For three years, they will also have access to Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Music Festival. They will also have exclusive access to merchandise drops and the private Discord channel. However, to access these holder-only experiences, holders must sign in with their crypto wallets.

Holders of “The Carton” NFTs should note that successfully minting a Carto doesn’t give them rights to the design. Rights of intellectual property licensing are not transferred to holders. Instead, holders become owners of images and the utility access that comes with them.
L3mon assures holders that utility privileges will grow in time for “The Carton” holders. Nevertheless, unlike other NFT collectibles, they are not an investment but collectibles that offer exclusive access to holder-only benefits.
Summer Smash Music Festival
As mentioned previously, among the benefits that “The Carton” holders have is access to the Summer Smash Music Festival for the next three years. However, the access is exclusive to festival tickets, and holders will be responsible for travel and lodging expenses.
Holders of the NFTs would be able to attend this year’s festival, which will be held in Chicago on June 17-19. Headlining this year’s event are Post Malone and Playboi Carti. Rap and hip-hop’s biggest names will also join the festivities, including Wiz Khalifa, Rico Nasty, Young Thug, Gunna, and more. Chicago natives Polo G and G Herbo will also be present.
